Dickleburgh, Norfolk

A collection of existing out buildings are knitted together to form an annexe to a large house owned by an even larger family. Makeshift buildings are replaced with new built replacements that reuse their form and basic materials (brick, timber, corrugated steel) but with modern building techniques and more refined detailing, the ensemble bound together with an external wall of wide plank vertical timber boarding.
