Hebron Road, Richmond
The owners’ of this terraced house in Hammersmith were keen to maintain the original layout and fabric of the house where possible. A careful refurbishment of main rooms was undertaken, clearing out later additions and alterations, and locating new requirements in the basement and in the attic.
The attic conversion is connected to the main house by a staircase built from maple that hangs from the new structure above – the bottom step hovers above the original top landing.
