Extensive structural modifications to a large house in Wandsworth to provide a tall column free room opening onto the garden with three doors each three metres high. By concealing all the structure the walls and ceiling become a muted backdrop to the highly textural items within the room: a sandblasted brick wall with a concrete chimney breast and a timber and concrete kitchen installation.
