Walber House, Walberswick

A new home created from what was previously a workshop and a decaying conservatory, increasing floor space by a careful three dimensional arrangement of rooms and flooding the interior with natural light through judiciously placed rooflights and new openings. The original fabric has been upgraded through high levels of insulation, a sedum covered flat roof and extending the exterior in the local tradition of elm weatherboarding.
