The transformation of a corner building in the Chelsea Conservation Area into a discreet, high quality neighbourhood restaurant. Internal alterations were carefully balanced with subtle improvements to the exterior, to ensure that they complemented the historic setting. The facade of the original building was retained, and a new basement formed to house the kitchens. A highly refined approach to the services design was required to meet strict Planning requirements and ensure co-ordination with bespoke internal finishes throughout. The fit out was developed in collaboration with interior designer Rob Angell Design International.
“Manalo and White were great to work with; I would wholeheartedly recommend them. They developed the architectural design so that our interior scheme fitted perfectly. The completed restaurant is a great success, and is one of the best in London.” Robert Angell, Interior Designer
